At Care-a-Lot Learning Center, we’re proud to provide exceptional early childhood education and Preschool/Pre-K programs in Botkins and the surrounding communities. At Care-a-Lot, we understand the importance of laying a strong educational foundation for young children, which is why we offer a variety of programs and services tailored to meet the needs of children ages 3-5.
Our Programs
preschool program
Our preschool program is designed for 3-4 year olds and meets for two days per week, with each class lasting 3 hours. Our dedicated and certified teachers create a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, play, and grow. Through hands-on activities and educational themes, we help children develop important skills such as socialization, gross and fine motor skills, language development, and more.
pre-k program
Our pre-k program is designed for 4-5 year olds who are preparing for kindergarten. We offer both 2-day and 4-day week options, with each class lasting 3 hours. Our pre-k curriculum is carefully crafted to ensure that children are prepared for the transition to regular school. We focus on academic readiness, social-emotional development, and building a love for learning.

lunch bunch
Once a month we offer a special class we call our lunch bunch. This class is offered on the second Tuesday of every month from 11:45 to 3:15. This is an extra class which is an extension of the class the children normally attend. With this class the children who already attend on Tuesday mornings can just bring a lunch with them and stay all day. This fun and exciting class helps children prepare to eat lunch at school and for some experiencing staying the whole day at school. Many exciting “extras” are included with this class, such as field trips, special visitors, etc. This class is “team taught” so the kids can get some extra small group or one-on-one time if needed.
summer enrichment program
*Takes place every Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:00-11:30 during the month of June
In addition to our regular programs, we also offer a summer enrichment camp for children who are entering kindergarten in the fall. Our summer program is designed to keep children engaged and learning during the summer months, while also preparing them for the academic challenges of kindergarten. We offer a variety of fun and educational activities, and special events to keep children excited about learning.
